A study evaluating the effects of Sabinsa’s Boswellin Super (BSR) on knee pain reduction was recently published in the European Journal of Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences (2016, Volume 3, Issue 10, 293-298): “The Effect of Boswellin Super on Knee Pain in Japanese Adults: A randomized, double-bind, placebo-controlled trial.”
BSR, a standardized extract from the gum resin of B. serrata containing Boswellic acids was evaluated for its role in musculoskeletal health in a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial. Healthy subjects with reported knee pain were assigned to receive either BSR or placebo for 8 weeks. Compared with baseline, the subjects consuming BSR showed significant improvements in pain management. This indicates Boswellin Super may play a vital role in alleviating knee pain.
