The National Nutritional Foods Association (NNFA), Washington, D.C., and its board of directors recently approved an update of the existing mission statement and the creation of a first-ever vision statement. In order to reflect the breadth of members NNFA now represents, the board of directors has also recommended a name change to the Natural Products Association. The name change initiative will be placed on the ballot in NNFA’s upcoming election. Should the name change be accepted, the association will engage in a comprehensive re-branding campaign that will emphasize its leadership and representation of all components of the natural products marketplace.
