Over his 30-year career, Mr. Walin has held a series of sales and marketing leadership roles across multiple healthcare business platforms at Abbott Laboratories (Abbott Nutrition Division and Abbott Diabetes Care Division) and most recently as vice president of sales at Perrigo (PBM Nutrition/Perrigo Nutrition and Perrigo Consumer Health). While at Abbott and Perrigo, Mr. Walin acquired extensive expertise in nutrition science, medical device/diagnostics and prescription and over-the-counter drug markets. He brings extensive experience and leadership to BIO-CAT in the areas of sales strategy, business planning, organizational design, product development, portfolio management, strategic partnerships, M&A, cross functional management and team development. His focus on external factors (consumer trends, segmentation, innovation, market structure, market forces and the voice of the customer) has provided him with the requisite perspective to optimize results and consistently deliver revenue and margin objectives for the corporation and customers alike.
