A new clinical trial performed by Fenestra Research Labs indicates that Lily of the Desert aloe enhanced with Aloesorb significantly improves vitamin C absorption, immune function, oxidative stress levels and detoxification.
This clinical trial, which involved 50 subjects and 25 control subjects, evaluated white blood cell counts (to assess immune system function) and the Optimal Wellness Test (OWT), a proprietary diagnostic test developed by Fenestra Research Labs that measures standard biochemical parameters to determine health at the cellular level. For this trial, the OWT measurements were used to determine how aloe juice enhanced with Aloesorb altered cellular metabolism over a 30-day period.
Research indicated a statistically significant improvement in immune system function, with a 16% increase compared to the control group. Lily of the Desert also improved cellular Oxidative-Reduction Potential (ORP), with an average overall improvement of 40%, demonstrating significant antioxidant properties.
