Companies Partner to Develop Functional Food Prototypes
Virginia Dare, Brooklyn, NY, FMC Bio-Polymer, Philadelphia, PA, and Devansoy, Carroll, IA, have introduced a series of healthy beverage prototypes. These beverages, packed in the convenient Tetra Prisma Aseptic 250 ml package from Tetra Pak, are intended to provide food and beverage companies with an expanded glimpse into the growing category of premium and healthy soy-based beverages. Each of the four 4Soy prototypes provides the foundation for an exciting and trend setting product. The first prototype is a maple brown sugar breakfast drink, combined with soy and oat, which is positioned as a convenient way to start the day. The second prototype combines açai fruit with soy, berry and other flavors. The third beverage contains a blend of fruits, flavors and soy in a refreshing strawberry banana smoothie. The fourth introduction combines white tea, chai, soy and pleasing flavors for an energy boosting experience
