Oxylent from Vitalah, Santa Cruz County, CA, will sponsor Canadians Rebecca Berger and Leanne Zrum as they join teams from around the world in Monterey, CA on June 7th to participate in the Great Pacific Race. Rowing 2100 nautical miles across the Pacific Ocean to HI, Ms. Berger and Ms. Zrum of the Row the Pacific team aim to become the first Canadians and the first females to complete this endurance race. Their 22-foot rowing boat will be powered only by human power. With Oxylent’s 5-in-1 daily multivitamin drink (super-packed with vitamins, minerals, electrolytes, amino acids, and antioxidants) onboard, the duo will row every mile, at 12 hours a day, in a journey that could take up to 100 days.
According to Ms.Zrum “We are looking forward to having Oxylent on the boat with us during our row. The addition of high quality vitamins, minerals, and electrolytes to our daily food provisions will aid our hydration and give much needed support to our immune systems – which will take a beating with our daily regimen of rowing and lack of rest!”
On May 30th, Oxylent will sponsor a lunch in Monterey, CA to support the entire group of rowers.
The Canadian team is rowing to increase awareness for the oceans’ health and raise funds for the David Suzuki Foundation, which supports environmental conservation and provides education about planetary impact.
