Vidya Herbs, an India-based supplier of herbal extracts and ingredients, has announced the grand opening of a new headquarters and extraction plant in Bunnell, Florida. The facility will serve as the main hub for the company’s U.S. operations, and is a significant milestone in the company’s expansion into the U.S.
 
The headquarters features a supercritical CO2 extraction process, which helps to preserve potency and purity of phytochemicals in an environmentally-friendly manner.
 
Bunnell, Florida was chosen for several reasons, namely the agricultural community and access to transportation networks, which can facilitate distribution and logistics across the U.S. The location also has a sufficient skilled workforce and supportive local government, Vidya Herbs reports.
 
“This expansion reflects our commitment to the American market,” stated Mr. Shyam Prasad, President of Vidya Herbs USA.  The opening of Vidya Herbs’ Florida headquarters will create numerous employment opportunities in the region, contributing to economic growth and further establishing Bunnell as a hub for the herbal extracts industry.  The company plans to collaborate closely with local educational institutions and community organizations to foster talent development and support the broader community.
