The Sami-Sabinsa Group has announced the addition of Devaraj Reddy, PhD, to its management team as chief operating officer.
Reddy has experience managing cross-functional operations in a multi-site environment, and developing plans for manufacturing and quality operations for the nutraceutical, functional food, and cosmeceutical industries.
He is experienced in research related to the manufacturing of standardized herbal extracts and synthetic molecules catering to global B2B markets. He received a PhD in chemistry from the University of Mysore.
Reddy will be based at the Sami-Sabinsa Group’s corporate office in Peenya, and will directly oversee unit heads of all manufacturing facilities, products, operations, exports, and commercials. He will also closely coordinate with other functions across departments.
