NuLiv Science, a developer of nutraceutical ingredients, has debuted its branded ingredient for sleep quality and mental wellness, Zylaria.
Developed from Xylaria nigripes the ingredient belongs to a specific sub-genus of Xylaria that is exclusively hidden deep in dirt where nutritious, yet obscure fungi are hidden within the nest of the Odontotermesformosanus termite.
Zylaria contains high levels of the amino acid gamma-aminobutyric acid, or GABA, which has been shown in human clinical studies to help regulate, support, and promote relaxation and improve sleep quality, according to NuLiv.
