B&D Nutritional Ingredients, Inc., Vista, CA, has been selected as an exclusive distribution and marketing partner by Embria Health Sciences, Cedar Rapids, IA. The companies have agreed to a contractual agreement that ensures B&D will become the exclusive U.S. distributor for Embria’s EpiCor ingredient, an all-natural high-metabolite immunogen, and the primary U.S. distributor for eXselen, Embria’s highly bioavailable organic selenium yeast ingredient.
In other developments, B&D has ex-tended its agreement with Xsto Solutions to continue servicing the East Coast in representing premier raw materials essential to the dietary supplement, food and personal care industries. The initial agreement began in 2006, with Xsto covering the Northeastern corridor and receiving excellent customer response. Under the terms of the extended agreement, Xsto will expand coverage to the Southeast. Xsto will be representing a full range of antioxidant products, such as Betanat (beta-carotene), sgs (broccoli concentrate from seed), En-zogenol (pine bark extract) and NuTriene (tocotrienols).
