Reduced Sodium Phosphate Technology
ICL Performance Products LP has introduced Benephos, a reduced sodium phosphate technology that provides beverage formulators with the ability to market shelf-stable beverages that are lower in sodium. Based on health trends, Bene-phos allows beverage formulators to deliver drinks that have enhanced microbial stability. It will also aid in the stabilization of proteins, minerals such as calcium, and color, as well as flavor en-hancement.
