GC Rieber VivoMega has partnered with OmegaQuant to provide free Omega-3 Index testing during SupplySide West/Fi North America. The company is also promoting its new platinum sampling program, which offers its highest concentrations in smaller softgel formats.
The OmegaQuant Omega-3 Index test, taken at the booth, will measure EPA and DHA blood concentrations. An Omega-3 Index of eight percent or more is considered ideal, but most people in the U.S. are at four percent or lower, OmegaQuant reports.
We are always thrilled to partner with companies like GC Rieber VivoMega to promote improved health and education around omega-3s,” said Jason Polreis, CEO, OmegaQuant. “We hope to see many attendees take advantage of this great opportunity that GC Rieber VivoMega is providing.”
While supplies last, the companies will provide visitors with samples of omega-3 concentrates and a follow-up test in order to gauge improvements, which combined are valued at more than $200.
VivoMega will launch its phase II platinum sampling program which offers its highest concentrations in smaller dosage formats, along with its high-concentration vegan omega-3 which is sourced from microalgae. The vegan omega-3 ingredient is produced using the company’s proprietary Superlight Processing Technology which enhances quality, sensory profile, and resource utilization with little to no waste.
“We want to make a big splash as SSW this year to show our ongoing commitment to excellence. Partnering with OmegaQuant to provide these Omega-3 Index tests, followed by a sample of our products and a second Omega-3 Index test, will show attendees how our products help improve omega-3 levels, said Christopher Hachey, U.S. business development manager at GC Rieber VivoMega. "Please join us at the show to learn more about our vegan and marine-derived omega-3 concentrates and our commitment to the industry through sustainable, environmentally friendly practices and human and social development."
