InnovoPro, a chickpea protein specialist, demonstrated the capabilities of its portfolio of ingredients with a fully plant-based Mexican menu of product concepts. This included chickpea protein-based chorizo and chicken alternative tacos which contained CP-XTURA65, and dairy- and egg-free smoky chipotle and traditional crema sauces containing CP-Pro70.
Ingredion Incorporated, a provider of ingredient solutions for food manufacturing, also showcased beverage, snack, and sauce prototypes using InnovoPro’s pea and chickpea proteins. This collaborative effort comes following a recent joint distribution announcement of both companies.
