Scientific Food Solutions (SFS), Fairfield, CA, and Sabinsa Corporation, Piscataway, NJ, have renewed the BioPerine Patent and Trademark License for “field of use in dietary supplements compositions comprised of ascorbic acid and vitamin C,” incorporating BioPerine in FAST-C.
The agreement covers the U.S., Canada, Europe, Taiwan, Japan, the Philippines and Australia. FAST-C is a patent-pending vitamin C ingredient is distributed by E.T. Horn in partnership as Alkemy Partners. FAST-C contains BioPerine, the patented bioavailability enhancement ingredient from Sabinsa Corporation.
SFS has also signed a trademark license and material supply agreement through which Nutritional Impact Corporation (NIC) will provide FAST-C in a soft gel delivery system to both the U.S. and Canadian markets.
