Omega 3 EPA & DHA Enriched Pizza
A.C. LaRocco, Spokane, WA, has included Ocean Nutrition Canada Limited’s MEG-3 EPA/DHA in the crust of two of its most popular pizzas and has agreed to incorporate it into its whole pizza line over the next several months. A.C. LaRocco has also signed a trademark license agreement to feature the MEG-3 brand on its pizza packaging. A.C. LaRocco’s award winning frozen vegetarian pizzas are all natural and organic. Each pizza is made with IQF (immediate quick frozen) vegetables, fresh garlic, real cheese and fresh herbs. Now its high fiber, whole-wheat pizza crust contains 32 mg of EPA/DHA from fish oil per serving. Two pizzas with Meg-3 are currently available in the U.S. market: Tomato and Feta & Greek Sesame.
