Importers Service Corporation, Jersey City, NJ, has signed a definitive multi-year agreement with the state of Jigawa, Nigeria, to purchase the state’s entire production of gum acacia. Importers Service Corporation has been involved with the Jigawa growing program since its inception. The company was invited by U.S. State Department, the Government of Nigeria and the Jigawa State Government to aid in the establishment of the Jigawa Gum Arabic Growing and Processing Program.
