Booth F90
Balchem, a global manufacturer of specialty ingredients for human nutrition and health, is returning to Vitafoods Europe this year where it will unveil a refreshed brand identity and showcase several product concepts. Flagship ingredients including VitaCholine, K2Vital, Albion Minerals, and OptiMSM will be on display.
The booth will be centered around the themes “power your performance,” and “maximize your health span.”
“Following a series of strategic acquisitions, we recognized the need to revisit Balchem’s Human Nutrition and Health brand image to bring together all of our branded ingredients and spotlight the synergies between them. Now, we’re looking forward to finally revealing this new distinctive identity to the market, and Vitafoods Europe is the perfect platform for this. Visitors to the event will be the first to learn more about our redefined approach and our exciting plans to expand the company’s global presence starting with Europe,” said Dominik Mattern, VP of science, business development and marketing at Balchem Human Nutrition and Health. “Our experts will be on hand to discuss the latest science behind Balchem’s science-backed ingredients portfolio and how we can help manufacturers differentiate their offerings with next-generation concepts that support optimal performance and wellness at all stages of life.”
Innovating in Trending Markets
Consumers across the world are increasingly adopting active lifestyles to improve their well-being, with two-thirds of consumers reporting that they exercise at least three times per week on average, Balchem said, citing research by FMCG Gurus. At Vitafoods Europe, Balchem will highlight the power of nutrients through product concepts featuring ingredients across its portfolio. The new concepts are designed to help manufacturers innovate in health condition-based markets including energy, cognition, women’s health, beauty from within, endurance and hydration, and protein/muscle health.
These solutions will be presented as part of Vitafoods Europe’s “Sports and Active Nutrition Innovation Tour” on May 14 from 11-12:30 a.m. beginning at booth R214.
Jane Durga of Balchem’s scientific affairs and advocacy department will deliver a presentation called “Balchem’s fresh approach to power your performance” in the New Ingredients Theater (F184) on May 14 from 12:30 to 12:55 p.m., where attendees can learn more about how Balchem is redefining and reimagining sports nutrition formulas.
Setting Quality Benchmarks
Balchem will also be discussing its TruQ program, which was developed to set new quality benchmarks in areas such as transparency, authenticity, safety, efficacy, and bioavailability/bioactivity.
The initiative is “driven by the principle that quality starts with rigorously tested prime raw ingredients,” the company reported.
