Dr. Reddy’s, a global pharmaceutical company based in Hyderabad, India, has announced the acquisition of Amiris, Inc.’s MenoLabs portfolio of dietary supplement brands.
This acquisition included seven branded products, designed to address women’s health issues such as perimenopause and menopause. The brands include MenoFit and MenoGlow probiotics, Happy Fiber and Well Rested supplements, Athena’s Shield supplements, and Goodness Glow and Keep Glowing Gorgeous healthy aging supplements. The products are available in the U.S. primarily through MenoLabs’ website as well as retailers like Walmart and Amazon.
The deal also includes the MenoLife health tracker app which provides community, education, and information to consumers regarding menopause.
“The MenoLabs acquisition will serve as a catalyst to accelerate growth in this space and build upon our aspiration to lead in the fast-growing women’s nutritional and wellness markets,” says Marc Kikuchi, CEO of Dr. Reddy’s in North America. “The acquisition complements Dr. Reddy’s U.S. self-care and wellness business portfolio of brands and addresses unmet needs of consumers for science-based, research-driven products that provide relief from the symptoms of menopause. For these and many other reasons, I believe we are well-positioned to successfully integrate and grow the business.”
