Specnova has been granted multiple Non-GMO Project verifications for branded ingredients, including NooGandha ashwagandha extract, MitoHeal redcurrant and blackcurrant extract, NordicCherry tart cherry extract, and AlphaFen fenugreek extract.

NooGandha contains withanolides at a concentration of 3.5 to 4%, according to a validated USP high performance liquid chromatography method. The ingredient also contains alkaloids, and utilizes ashwagandha’s natural plant matrix components for stability and absorption.
In a double-blind, placebo-controlled study, supplementing with NooGandha daily at doses ranging from 225 mg to 400 mg resulted in improved test markers of mental agility, focus, and alertness, visual memory, reaction time, psychomotor speed, executive functioning, cortisol levels, subjective feelings of stress and anxiety, and food cravings.
MitoHeal is a polyphenol-rich complex of redcurrant and blackcurrant, formulated to support beauty from within. In a double-blind, placebo-controlled study, taking 500 mg of the ingredient was associated with reductions in fine lines and wrinkles, facial brown spots, and skin coarseness. There was also subjective improvements in stress response, mood, and sleep quality.
