Aspire Pharmaceuticals has named Darrec Jones as vice president of business development.
Jones most recently served as head of global sales and business development for ingredient supplier Valensa International, where he was responsible for managing a large portfolio of global accounts and creating new business opportunities, marketing strategies, and leading the company’s global sales team.
Prior to Valensa, Jones held numerous positions with OmniActive Health Technologies throughout the course of his 11-year tenure with the company, including head of global business development. During this time, sales in OmniActive’s NIS division grew by 4,200%. He developed the blue light category for the company’s flagship carotenoid ingredient, Lutemax 2020, in conjunction with customers including Bausch and Lomb and Nature’s Bounty.
Jones is a certified Mater of Business Devlopment and has held a board member position with Seton Hall University Customer Experience Certificate program.
