Premium ingredients supplier Nutralliance Inc. has launched allergen-free, quadruple-coated probiotics from Ildong Bioscience, supporting a range of clean-label applications.
“We can now help our customers to proudly add the allergen-free declaration by incorporating our quad-coated probiotic line,” said AnaMaria Cuentas, director of probiotics for Nutralliance.
The quad-coating technology ensures the strains’ ability to survive in caustic environments while promoting introduction of probiotics into new applications. In combination with high-potency strains, multi-species blends, and the patented quadruple coating, the new allergen-free formulation strengthens Nutralliance’s position in the probiotic market, the company said.
Multiple studies have confirmed the safety and efficacy of Ildong Bioscience’s strains. Full genome sequencing has determined that each strain contains no plasmids, antibiotic resistant or deleterious genes. All of Ildong Bioscience’s strains are GRAS, Kosher and Halal certified.
