The NSF Supplier Assurance Audit demonstrates the safety of the company’s products, and its compliance with governmental regulations and requirements pertaining to good manufacturing practices. The approval it received from NSF is a signal to other suppliers, retailers, and consumers that the company meets high standards in safety, quality, sustainability, and performance, the company noted. During the audit, NSF's inspectors visit manufacturing facilities to inspect and analyze a company's manufacturing operations, quality management programs, and the effectiveness of food safety processes.
