Even as Natural Products Expo West, the world’s largest natural, organic, and healthy lifestyle buyer tradeshow postponed its event schedule, AlaskOmega has decided that the show must go on (virtually), and is proceeding with the planned launch of their new Omega-3 concentrate powder.
 
AlaskOmega, a line of omega-3 and omega-7 concentrates from natural fish oils, is produced by Wiley Companies. This is the first powder launched by AlaskOmega, and is the newest addition to their omega-3 concentrate line. It delivers 200 mg/g of EPA and DHA, and has been formulated to lack a fishy taste or smell. AlaskOmega omega-3 powder allows formulators to incorporate high levels of omega-3 into a variety of applications and formulations such as meal replacement and sports drink powders, energy bars, baked goods, vitamin blends, dairy products, and other functional foods and beverages.
 
The new powders are Halal certified, and also certified sustainable and traceable by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC).
 
Steve Dillingham, AlaskOmega’s vice president of sales, said that he’d been asked for years about a high potency omega-3 powder for use in supplements, foods, and beverages.
