Naturex, Avignon, France, has successfully completed the FSSC 22 000 certification process, with its New Jersey factory achieving the Food Safety System Certification 22 000, and its Avignon facility completing its audit. The FSSC 22000 is the highest level of certification in food safety management systems within the FSSC program. This certification combines ISO 22000, a unique International Standard based on the HACCP method and ISO TS 22000-1, which was developed to specify the prerequisite programs related to good manufacturing practices. It is approved by GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative), which also recognizes BRC1, IFS2 and SQF3.
