The bars, which were developed in partnership with Biochem Sports and Fitness Systems, Hauppauge, NY, contain an extra five-10 grams of protein and 150-260 calories and are available in three flavors, Chocolate Pieces, Peanut Butter Cups and Chocolate Chews. The bars are reportedly a stepping stone to create more functional foods, according to the company.
