FoodState, Derry, NH, a producer and distributor of the supplement brands MegaFood and Innate Response, has joined the U.S.-China Health Products Association (USCHPA).
USCHPA said it looks forward to working closely with FoodState and its team to work toward a more open and transparent regulatory system in China, as well as increase education about the importance of dietary supplements. Bethany Davis of FoodState said the company is “committed to high-quality products, and that starts with exceptional partnerships with our suppliers. FoodState sees USCHPA as an important piece in developing and maintaining those great relationships.”
USCHPA has also partnered with Designs for Health, Suffield, CT. Since 1989, Designs for Health has been a source for healthcare professionals for research-backed nutritional products in the U.S.
“In an effort to expand upon our success at home, we are extending our services to the international market,” said Usha Martin, director of business development for Designs for Health. “As China moves toward a system of healthcare that is focused on prevention, it is natural that there would be a growing demand for high quality supplements. In our dedication to quality, we understand the need to be involved politically in an effort to help protect the integrity of our industry.”
