India-based Alchem International Ltd. has opened its first North American office in Minneapolis, MN. The sales and marketing office will be spearheaded by Laurent Leduc, who previously served as vice president of Frutarom Health. This office will cater to growing demand in North America for GMP-certified manufacturers of extracts and their purified derivatives for the supplement, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries. Alchem manufactures herbal extracts such as vinpocetine, Coleus forskolin, sennosides and quinine. Mr. Leduc will be responsible for introducing Alchem and its portfolio of ingredients to the region while increasing service to current customers.
