Jamba Juice, San Francisco, CA, has created a new menu category of natural energy enhancing drinks called Jamba Juice Energy. The new smoothies and shots are made with matcha green tea and açai berries. The three new smoothies include Matcha Green Tea Blast, which is a creamy blend of matcha green tea, soymilk, frozen yogurt and sorbet. It contains 75 mg of caffeine, in addition to vitamin D, calcium, phosphorus and vitamin C. Açai Supercharger—Jamba's exclusive Açai Juice Blend infused with guarana—contains a mixture of soymilk, blueberries, strawberries and raspberry sherbet, which provides three servings of fruit and 40 mg of caffeine, in addition to delivering vitamins D and E, dietary fiber, calcium, iron and 680% of the daily value (DV) of vitamin C. Lastly, Turbo Tropic is made with pineapple juice, kiwi juice, peaches, strawberries, mangos, orange sherbet and pineapple sherbet, plus the Jamba Juice Energy Boost, which contains guarana. It delivers four servings of fruit, 15 mg of caffeine from the guarana, 880 mg of potassium, 200% of the recommended daily dose of vitamin C, as well as vitamins A, C, B1, B6 and B12. The two new 4-ounce shots in the Jamba Juice Energy category include Matcha Green Tea Shot with orange juice, providing 37 mg of caffeine, 280 mg of potassium and vitamins C and K; and, Matcha Green Tea Shot with soymilk, which provides 37 mg of caffeine, in addition to vitamins D and K, calcium and phosphorous.
