DSM Acquires Roche Vitamins
Delft, The Netherlands-based DSM has acquired Roche’s Vitamins and Fine Chemicals Division, Kaiseraugst, Switzerland, for e2.25 billion. This is DSM’s largest acquisition in the company’s 100-year history, making it the largest player in the global life sciences products sector. In terms of the vitamin price fixing case, present and future liabilities will remain with Roche.
