The Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN), Washington, D.C., has released additional data from its 2014 Consumer Survey on Dietary Supplements in a newly released infographic.
The survey was conducted online and included a national sample of 2,010 adults ages 18 and older. This survey has been conducted annually since 2000, and this is the second infographic put together to visually display the data.
Key findings of the survey report that over two thirds of U.S. consumers take dietary supplements. CRN suggests that supplement users prioritize their health, and tend to engage in healthy lifestyle habits such as eating a balanced diet (86%), not smoking (78%), visiting their doctor regularly (75%), and getting a good night sleep (70%).
