RFI Ingredients, Blauvelt, NY, has received Fair For Life Social & Fair Trade Certification as a producer and processor of spirulina and chlorella products from the Institute for Marketecology (IMO). Fair For Life fair trade certification is an independent verification of social and environmental marketing claims. Fair For Life was developed as an alternative fair trade certification program by the Swiss Bio-Foundation, in cooperation with IMO, in 2006.
