Focused on researching the effects of its probiotic strain GanedenBC30 on human immune cells, Ganeden Biotech, Cleveland, OH, will offer two grants for early investigators. To be eligible, investigators must have a full-time faculty appointment at a research institution or medical school. Applicants must have interest in studying the effects of GanedenBC30 on human immune cells, as well as the capacity to conduct such research. Two grants will be funded at a maximum of $15,000 for each project. Applicants will be expected to submit a budget outlining how the funds will be used. A meeting with Ganeden’s Scientific Board will be required prior to the start of research, as well as following the research to present results. Travel for these meetings will be subsidized above the grant amount.
