Bioactive Whey Concentrate
Glanbia has introduced Salibra™ 700 Bioactive Whey Concentrate. Salibra 700 contains more than 20% bioactive components derived from whey such as glycomacropeptide (13%), immunoglobulins (5%), lactoferrin (1%) and phospholipids (2%). Salibra 700 can be used in food systems for emulsification, thickening, water-binding and texture stabilization. Its applications include yogurt, ice cream, low-fat products, nutritional bars, frozen whipped toppings and nutritional beverages.
