Neptune Technologies & Bioressources Inc. has begun that the reconstruction of its production facilities in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada, starting this week.
The corporation plans to reconstruct an operational plant by overhauling the expansion facility that was under construction. In addition to receiving the necessary permits to begin work, the corporation has engaged engineering and architectural firms, and has also recently hired a new plant manager.
Upon completion of the reconstruction, planned for end of fiscal year, the facility is expected to contribute to increase the capacity to offer considerably more kilograms of Neptune Krill Oil (NKO) per year, enabling Neptune to substantially increase its offer to clients.
“This marks a major milestone in our Action Plan to prominently increase our production capacity,” commented Mr. Henri Harland, president and CEO of Neptune. “We are taking the necessary steps to strengthen our foundation and we remain confident in our ability to emerge stronger for the future.”
