At Vitafoods Europe, Nektium will showcase Vanizem, an extract of Aframomum melegueta formulated to support natural stress relief and sleep support.

The ingredient, which was named a finalist in the Vitafoods 2025 awards, is a fast-acting botanical that may promote feelings of calm without drownsiness, according to the company. A recent clinical study in Pharmaceuticals linked the supplement to a targeting of the endocannabinoid system and self-reported improvements in stress, mood, and sleep.

Visitors to Nektium’s booth will be able to try Vanizem in capsule format, and the company will also hold a discussion on the ingredient’s mechanism of action at the New Ingredients Theater on May 20 at 3:30 p.m.

Nektium will also be showcasing its Zynamite ingredient in lime-flavored RTD energy drinks, powder sticks and gummies. The Mangifera indica extract is formulated to deliver mental energy, focus and cognitive performance without side effects. Zynamite is backed by more than 10 clinical studies, with the most recent showing its water-soluble form may significantly enhance cognitive performance in students.

The company will also highlight its Rhodiola rosea extract, Rhodiolife, which is formulated to deliver adaptogenic benefits helping the body adapt to stress, while improving mood and physical performance. Samples of the ingredient will be available in gummy forms, and it is also suitable for foods, beverages, and capsules.
