The ingredient supplier’s range of palm phytonutrients were the first palm ingredients verified to adhere to NASC’s quality standards.

PhytoGaia, a supplier specializing in palm-derived phytonutrients, announced that they’ve been recognized as a preferred supplier by the National Animal Supplement Council (NASC). PhytoGaia is the first supplier of palm ingredients to receive the designation, which acknowledges that PhytoGaia meets NASC’s quality standards.

“We are thrilled to receive this approval from the National Animal Supplement Council. It aligns perfectly with our mission to improve the well-being of pets through safe, effective and high quality supplement and food ingredients,” said Ariati Aris, PhD, scientific affairs specialist at PhytoGaia. "Our membership in NASC and our ability to use the blue NASC’s Preferred Supplier seal further solidifies the credibility of our products, providing brands, formulators and pet owners with the assurance they need when selecting ingredients."

PhytoGaia offers a range of branded ingredients for the animal supplements market, including PetGaia, a palm fruit extract high in vitamin E tocotrienols and squalene, and MCTGaia, a natural palm medium-chain triglyceride ingredient. These innovative products are designed to support the general health and well-being of animals, healthy skin and fur, energy levels, brain health, and heart health, as well as good antioxidant status.

"As the first palm phytonutrient company to be accepted into NASC’s Preferred Supplier Program, we are proud to offer products that meet the rigorous standards set forth by NASC for ingredient suppliers. Our commitment to quality and safety is reflected in every aspect of our business and supply chain," said Bryan See, vice president of PhytoGaia.
