Bell Flavors & Fragrances will be heading to SupplySide West and Food Ingredients North America to debut snack and confectionary concepts that lean into wellness with a healthy dose of “Newstalgia.”
 
These concepts align with the company’s “Spark – Ignites Creativity, Inspires Senses” program which tracks five key consumer macro trends impacting consumers today and in the future.
 
“We’re excited to showcase savory snack and confectionary concepts that not only support wellness and provide our audience with a memorable throwback but also deliver on the number one purchase driver, taste,” said Tamara Gabler, research chef, confectionary and sweet applications at Bell. “We hope that our flavor-packed creations continue to fuel food, beverage, and supplement innovation that stays true to what’s trending in today’s marketplace and provides consumers with the power due of health and comfort.”
 
Bell’s tasting menu will include:
 
A mead snack mix, containing mixed nuts, beef jerky, and parmesan crisps, which combines chevre cheese, honey, and lambic beer flavors.
 
Kiwi twist and blackberry lavender adaptogen gummies, which feature bell’s kiwi, apple cucumber, blackberry, and lavender flavors with a vitamin flavor modifier, which contain lion’s mane, reishi, and chaga mushroom powder for functional benefits.
 
Banana salted soft caramels, which feature Bell’s ripe banana and vanilla flavors, designed to recreate banana bread in a confection form.
 
Tropical citrus edible slime candy, which feature Bell’s tropical citrus flavor – this edible slime candy is a throwback to ‘90s kids game shows.
