Givaudan Showcases Product Concepts for Modern Lifestyles

Givaudan is showcasing a range of concepts for emotional, mental, and physical wellbeing at Vitafoods Europe. The product concepts are based on the company’s consumer research, and are designed to demonstrate how to personalize dietary supplements based on modern lifestyles.
 
“Givaudan's research shows how our busy, and often heavily digital, lifestyles can make it challenging to balance physical and mental health,” said Amandine de Santi, business development director of functional and nutritional ingredients. “At Vitafoods, Givaudan is excited to showcase how we co-create unique wellbeing experiences with our customers, answering consumer needs for natural solutions that support healthy bodies and happy minds.”
 
The company’s flagship ingredient at the show is Cereboost, an American ginseng extract which is linked to benefits in mood, attention, and working memory through interactions with the gut-brain axis.
 
Visitors to Givaudan’s booth can play an app-based game in order to test the effects of Cereboost for themselves. They can also learn more abut the research supporting the product by attending a presentation at the New Ingredients Theater on May 10 at 3:30 p.m.
 
Five product concepts, tailored to specific consumer lifestyles, are on display, including:
 
  • “Be Focus” for e-gamers, a powder shake containing Cereboost, vitamin A, and green tea.
  • “Inner Strength” for multitaskers, an effervescent tablet combining Cereboost with green tea, along with a "Fuel Up” gummy containing green coffee, maca, and acerola.
  • “Healthy Party Power,” an effervescent tablet containing guarana and yerba mate for activity enthusiasts
  • “Ally Together,” a capsule for joint health containing raspberry leaf
  • “High Set,” a cereal bar with Svetol, green tea, and acerola.
