Kyowa Hakko to Feature New Research, Energy Drink Collaboration at SupplySide West
At Kyowa’s booth, visitors will be able to try XPO NRG, a limited-edition energy drink made exclusively for the event.

Kyowa Hakko USA will showcase new research validating its patented citicoline ingredient, Cognizin, at SupplySide West.
The new research demonstrates neuroprotective effects of Cognizin, providing evidence that it may enhance cognitive function and support healthy brain aging. It was presented at the American Society for Nutrition (ASN) Nutrition 2024 conference this summer.
“We are ecstatic to bring new research supporting the efficacy of Cognizin to center stage at SupplySide West,” said Katie Emerson, senior manager of scientific affairs. “We now understand at the genetic level how citicoline delivers its benefits and could have greater implications for long-term brain health.”
Cognizin will also be featured in XPO NRG, a limited-edition energy drink made exclusively for SupplySide West 2024 that will be available to attendees at Kyowa’s booth. Kyowa is one of nine exhibitors to collaborate on the beverage concept.
In addition to Cognizin citicoline, the energy drink features:
- Enfinity paraxanthine by TSI Group;
- GoBHB ketones from Ketone Labs;
- Branding and label design by NutraMedia;
- Formulation by Savage Nutra;
- Manufacturing by MacroCap Labs;
- MitoPrime L-ergothioneine by NNB Nutrition;
- Flavor by Sensapure Flavors;
- McDowell Label of Resource Label Group.
The collaboration was led by supplement industry media company PricePlow.

At its booth, Kyowa will feature additional ingredients from its portfolio, including Immuse postbiotic from immune health, Setria glutathione, and Eyemuse postbiotic for eye health. PricePlow will record a live podcast episode from Kyowa’s booth onWednesday, Oct. 30, interviewing a panel of industry experts.
Visitors to Kyowa’s booth will also be able to sample recent products with its ingredients, including Goli Matcha Mind gummies, Olly Focus Buddes L’Olly Pops, Do’Mo Functional Elixirs, Mosh protein bars, Bobelo Immune Booster Elixir, and Lemme Focus Gummies.
Immuse will also be featured at a satellite booth in the International Probiotics Association (IPA) area.
