Boulder Brands will establish a subsidiary company in the UK, Boulder Brands UK, and will look to introduce its very successful Udi’s Gluten Free Foods brand later on in the year.
In the UK, Davies Bakery has built up a reputation, over five generations, for producing high-quality and innovative gluten free products. Boulder Brands will utilize Davies’ retail relationships, its state of the art gluten free manufacturing facility, and expertise in the UK market, to launch Udi’s bakery & grocery items in the UK in 2013. The deal will see the manufacture and distribution of more than 15 of Udi’s products throughout the UK.
