Life Extension has launched Estrogen Balance Elite, a dietary supplement featuring a standardized fenugreek seed extract, which is designed to relieve discomfort caused by age-related declines in estrogen production.
A recent survey of Life Extension customers revealed that half of respondents experienced discomforts like hot flashes or night sweats once or twice a week. Some women experienced them as often as twice daily (12%), and over one quarter (26%) even more frequently.
“We wanted to offer women a plant-based way to help support estrogen production,” said Joshua Sirju, a discovery research scientist at Life Extension. “In several studies, the standardized fenugreek seed extract in this formula was shown to promote estradiol (a form of estrogen produced in the ovaries) production, showing a statistically significant change compared to baseline and the placebo group.”
