Ayana Bio, a producer of bioactive ingredients derived through plant cell cultures, has appointed Jim Hamilton to its board of directors.
Hamilton has extensive executive leadership experience, as a former president of DSM Nutritional Products USA (now dsm-firmenich after a 2023 merger) and CEO of OmniActive Health Technologies.
Hamilton served in a variety of other leadership roles in dietary supplement, food, beverage, cosmetic, and animal nutrition industries.
In addition to his advisory roles he acts as chair of the board of Vitamin Angels, a nonprofit organization that provides vitamins to 70 million children in need.
