Novozymes OneHealth has appointed Guillermo “Willy” Pardiñas as head of its North America division. Pardiñas previously held roles in a variety of divisions at Abbott Labs in the U.S., Thailand, and Mexico, for over a decade. He also spent three years working as senior vice president and general manager of the Americas at Metagenics.

Pardiñas earned a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin, and began his career as an engineer. He continued with experiences in R&D, manufacturing, and plant and product design, ahead of leading sales, marketing, and commercial operations at Abbott Labs.
At this time, he earned an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, and managed sales and marketing for the Midwest division of the company. Then, he moved to international sales, running commercial operations in Latin America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, before heading global sales at the company.
Pardiñas also led several other companies throughout his career, including Fresenius Kidney Care, CSL Behring, and International SOS.
