Nutraceutical supplier HP Ingredients has partnered with wholesaler Hemp Sail to represent, sell, and market the latter company’s hemp and CBD ingredients for the dietary supplements and functional foods/beverages market.
The ingredients include a 20% CBD hemp-derived water-soluble powder, a 20% broad spectrum water-soluble liquid, a USDA certified organic broad spectrum hemp distillate with non-detectable levels of THC, and organic hemp tea.
Hemp Sail also produces: a water-soluble powder containing 20% CBD isolate; a 20% broad-spectrum water-soluble powder with undetectable levels of THC; a 10% CBD isolate water-soluble powder; 99% CBD isolate powder; 10% CBD water-soluble liquid concentrate; and a 20% CBD water-soluble liquid concentrate.
Products which will be exclusive to the partnership are broad-spectrum and isolate water-soluble powders, while the CBD isolate powder and raw hemp tea leaf are non-exclusive.
“HP Ingredients has long been interested in working with a quality, ethical, and sustainable hemp and CBD provider, and we found Hemp Sail to fulfill our high expectations,” Annie Eng, CEO and founder of HP Ingredients, said. “The CBD and hemp market shows no sign of slowing its incredibly rapid growth and the opportunities for distinctive product developments are bountiful, as Hemp Sail has one of the widest inventories on the market.”
“I took my time to get to know several potential partners with whom I wanted to represent my passion and the Hemp Sail line. Annie Eng and Hame Persaud are leaders in emphasizing full research portfolios for ingredients to provide traceability of efficacy and mechanisms of action. Everything they do is connected to scientific research. Together, we will enrich the health industry.”
“There is no denying that the compounds in hemp are scientifically proven to be beneficial to human health and wellness,” Hame Persaud, executive vice president of HP Ingredients, said. “It is a sturdy, hardy botanical with a rich history of use. The product segment is expected to continue to bloom profusely, and we are positioned to steer and supply quality hemp-derived ingredients.”
