Artemis International, a supplier of dark berry extracts for supplements, functional foods, and beverages, announced that Melanie Bush has been promoted to vice president of Science & Research. While working with the company for 16 years, Bush has been instrumental in leading Artemis’ mission to be a science-driven company, Artemis said.
Over the years, Bush guided the science division of the company through continuous improvements, such as elevating research initiatives and collaborating with researchers. She is also a regular contributor to many industry publications. Artemis International said that her efforts have helped drive sales for the company, and helped it establish a leadership position within the industry.
“We are thrilled to have a head of science and research with Melanie’s expertise and commitment to her work,” Leslie Gallo, president of Artemis International, said. “I am confident Melanie will lead us to even greater heights in the area of science, and in leading us to an even brighter future.”
