NEXCO is holding its one-day Chemical Classification Seminar on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Hyatt Regency McCormick Place, Chicago, IL in conjunction with IFT18.
This is a comprehensive one-day seminar on classifying inorganic and organic chemicals in Chapters 28 and 29 of the U.S. Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS). The seminar will provide guidance for chemical classification, definitions of various chemistry terms necessary for classification, discussion of drugs and medicaments in Chapter 30, and the Pharmaceutical Appendix. It will also briefly discuss classification of polymers in primary form.
