Paragon Laboratories, Torrance, CA, has attained UL Certification for Dietary Supplement GMP compliance. UL, a global independent safety science company, was founded in 1894, and continues to offer assessment and certification to a broad base of industries, including dietary supplement contract manufacturer.
According to Jay Kaufman, president of Paragon Laboratories’, this new certification is just one of the many investments in third party certification that Paragon Laboratories has pursued over our 45 years in the industry. Paragon’s UL Certification is an addition to its other certifications, including GMP Certified by NSF and NSF Sport, NPA GMP Certification and QAI Organic Certification.
UL and NPA joined forces last year to provide comprehensive training and education platforms for companies within the dietary supplement industry, pooling both entities’ expertise in GMP Compliance, QA/QC Operations, label requirements, packaging, and more.
Paragon operates within state of the art production facilities and its capabilities include the production of dietary supplement formulations in tablet, capsule and powder dosage forms. An in-house quality control laboratory supports production. Packaging capabilities include bottles, tubs, jars, cans, stick packs, packets and blister cards.
