The United Natural Products Alliance (UNPA) a trade association representing the dietary supplements industry, has joined the executive council of the International Alliance of Dietary/Food Supplement Associations (IADSA), an international body representing dietary supplements.

UNPA is similar to IADSA, representing the interests of the dietary supplements industry in its advocacy for regulations, business practices, and quality standards. IADSA operates on a global scale, fostering international collaboration and policy alignment, and UNPA plays a similar role in the U.S.

“We are honored to join the executive council of IADSA at a time when global collaboration and science-based policy are more important than ever for the health products sector,” said Loren Israelsen, founder and president of UNPA. “We look forward to contributing to IADSA’s mission to promote the safe, responsible, and effective use of supplements worldwide.”

“We are delighted to welcome UNPA to IADSA’s executive council,” said Simon Pettman, executive director of IADSA. “UNPA’s participation will help strengthen the development of forward-thinking policies and global strategies to support a responsible, trusted, and dynamic industry worldwide.”
