Trace Appoints Mandy McCarthy as Chief Marketing Officer

In her career in the health and wellness industry, McCarthy most recently served as general manager of Nestlé’s specialty supplements division.

Trace, a brand specializing in trace mineral supplements, appointed Mandy McCarthy as chief marketing officer. The move comes as part of the company’s growth strategy, which includes a rebranding and the appointment of Chuck Walkley as CEO in late 2024.

McCarthy has specialized in strategic growth and brand transformation for brands such as Newell Brands, Unilever, and Office Depot. She eventually transitioned to focus on health and wellness, spending seven years leading the marketing department of Garden of Life.

Most recently, she served as general manager of Nestlé’s specialty supplements division.

“Mandy brings a powerful combination of strategic insight, creative vision and a deep understanding of the health and wellness space to our team,” said Chuck Walkley, CEO of Trace. “She has a proven ability to drive brand growth and earn lasting consumer trust, exactly the kind of leadership we need as we continue building awareness around the vital role of trace minerals in everyday wellness and expanding our reach even further. Mandy’s vision will be instrumental in shaping our next chapter.”

McCarthy will lead Trace’s marketing strategy to amplify the brand’s market presence and deepen consumer education around minerals, and shape core product branding.

“Joining Trace at this pivotal stage presents a rare opportunity to help shape the trajectory of a company with both purpose and the potential for continued growth,” said McCarthy. “Together, we’ll build an elevated brand experience based on education that resonates deeply, inspires action, and drives sustained growth. Backed by 50 years of research and consumer trust, Trace has all the right ingredients to disrupt today’s wellness industry in an even more impactful way. I look forward to unlocking what’s next.”
