Qualitas Health has appointed Dr. Rebecca White manager of its Imperial, TX site.
 
“As we continue to build our production capabilities, we are pleased to welcome Dr. White to lead the operations of our microalgae facility,” said Yuri Shoshan, CEO of Qualitas Health. “She has the expertise of scaling up and running large scale algal biomass production operations, and has a keen talent for building dynamic, well-rounded teams. This addition to our team is part of our significant increased investment in our Texas facility, in order to ensure a robust supply-chain.”
 
Dr. White received her Ph.D. in Microbiology from Texas A&M University, as a National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellow. Prior to joining Qualitas, she was Director of Cultivation at Sapphire Energy, overseeing the growing and processing of microalgae.
